The incident that changed my Life
I used to go university by bus and it was a normal day, I get on the bus and sat on the window seat with putting my headphones on my ear because last night I was watching the online lecture of Digital Image Processing that had been uploaded on the internet and I wished to complete the remaining part through the journey to go university. All the things were good and I completed the video lecture, clear my concepts and at that time bus is passing by the university gate as the university gate is on the another side of the road and bus had to take U-turn to go to another side. I picked up my bag from the rack and put my headphones in it and that time bus is standing at the U-turn waiting for the traffic become lighter so that turning of the bus become easy.
Suddenly, at that that moment, a fully loaded huge truck collided with our bus from the right-back side and for few seconds I didn’t know what was happening with me and felt powerless like my ears stopped working and time become dilated. Truck collide with the bus and then bus collide with the traffic that is coming from the other side but after few moments everything become static. Where I was sit, window of the backseat broke into pieces and it was the blessing of God that no student was sitting in front of that window. By the grace of God, no person from our bus received serious injuries. Our bus driver quickly get up from his seat and open the door of the bus with his full strength as it was jammed. We leave the bus one by one and as the university was at walking distance and we reached after walking steps and the students who faced minor injuries provided with first aid.
The thing I learn from this accident is that “ Life is Uncertain”. We don’t know what is happening in the next second and this incident changed my views about life. I think after that, I might be die at that moment and what is the good thing I’m leaving behind. The answer to that question is nothing at that time and first of all I praised to Allah for providing me another chance of life that I can utilize for helping people, doing good deeds, learning the things which are beneficial for the society. After that I started thinking about How can I help people so that they can remember me in good words.
